I have a need to get out and experience the outdoors at least once a month. There are no mountain ranges in Denmark like our neighbouring countries are blessed with. I miss the mountains. I grew up in Australia surrounded by mountains and vast coastlines. Because of covid-19 restrictions I didn’t hike in the mountains in 2020. But I always find somewhere to be alone in a forest somewhere anyway.
Packing lightweight is my way of enjoying the outdoors.

I fully understand what you mean and how you might feel about not being able to hike in the mountains in 2020, because, basically the same restrictions I had.
If I compare my list of mountaineering trips of 2019 compared to 2020 I get “depressed”! 🙂
Having said that, again, thank you for your company (via your posts and comments) and I wish you all the best for 2021.
